- GPU: OpenGL compatible external card
- OS: Windows 10 64bit
- Storage: 1-5 GB for TVS and media
- Display: 1400x900 True Color (32 bit)
Specific system notes
Section titled “Specific system notes”Raspberry Pi
Section titled “Raspberry Pi”The Raspberry Pi 4 and above can run Television Simulator, but the Pi 4 should run at 640x480 or 720p resolution for best performance, and picture effects should be disabled.
The Pi 5 is a bit better but it’s still a bit tough to run with picture effects enabled.
I’ve personally run TVS on a late 2000s era Mac Mini with a Core 2 Duo CPU and 4 GB of RAM; it actually runs surprisingly well.
For modern Macs, TVS should run fine on any Intel or Apple Silicon Mac, but Safari currently shows erratic behavior, especially with picture effects. Use Chromium-based browsers for the best experience.
